Global Citizen

PGU | Educational Preparation Program for Foreign Students

About

We actively connect with other young people globally, broadening our perspectives. Teaching is mainly in English and includes project-oriented, activist, and investigative methods. We learn about youth life and environments locally and globally, while also studying communication, rhetoric, digital literacy, and design processes.

We aim to create a strong community focusing on cooperation and learning inside and out of the program. This means you’ll be participating in different activities both in the program and outside together with the rest of the students at FGU.

Global Citizen is a program we offer in collaboration with UUR Randers Kommune from August 2024 to August 2025.

The program can have up to 12 students at a time.

The program spans one year and aims to prepare primarily ukranian speaking students for regular education. New students can join anytime during the period if the class is not filled. Placement is decided with UUR.

Students receive school allowance on the same terms as other students at FGU.
